Istanbul M&A Consulting and Advisory advises a select number of clients each year. Mandates are led personally, from first conversation to closing — no hand-offs, no layers.

 

We work alongside business owners, private equity, and international financial institutions on the transactions that matter most: the sale of a company, a strategic acquisition, a capital raise, or entry into the Turkish market.

Our advantage is judgment earned across decades of dealmaking and an intimate understanding of how value is created, negotiated and protected on both sides of the Türkiye–Europe corridor — regulatory, cultural and financial.

The firm operates independently and, where appropriate, in close coordination with leading European investment banks for whom it serves as senior advisor in the region.

05  —  EXPERIENCE

The depth behind the work.

The practice is built on nearly four decades of senior experience across Turkish and international finance — at the level where transactions are decided.

 

That experience spans the senior leadership of an investment bank and of fintech and electronic-money institutions, group-level financial controllership within one of Türkiye's largest holdings, and senior roles at leading institutions including Koç Holding, Koç Finans, Sümerbank and Deloitte & Touche.

It combines a deep command of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and tax planning with first-hand experience of the regulation of banks and financial institutions — including direct, executive-level liaison with Türkiye's principal regulators: the BRSA, the SDIF and the Capital Markets Board. This foundation is reinforced by the International Tax Program at Harvard Law School.
